Thinking of Proposing?

You have found the perfect partner you want to go through life with and found the perfect ring but now how do you  ask them to “Marry Me” in a unique, memorable way?  Well here are some ideas that may help you ask the most important question of a lifetime:
  • Create a Journal with notes recalling special moments throughout your relationship or a Photo Album with pictures of special moments  and on the very last page write something like “What does our future hold?” or “Where does the story end?” and then ask her to marry you.
  • Have a little scavenger hunt.  Send your mate text messages leading them to a secret spot.  Be sure to send sweet nothing also to keep her attention, along with the directions, as you guide her to the spot where you will be on one bended knee asking her to marry you.
  • Take her out to eat to the two of yours favorite restaurant.   Make the topic of conversation about your relationship and all the special moments you can recall along the way.  Ahead of time ask the waiter to have the pastry chef write “Will you Marry Me” around the edge of the dessert plate when you order dessert.  As she receives her dessert, pull out the ring.
  • Have a friend or family member set up a picnic, complete with wine and cheese for you in a romantic spot or park.   Take your girlfriend for a walk on a route where you stumble upon the surprise proposal picnic.
  • Taking a vacation together and flying soon?  Use the plane’s loud-speaker ( be sure to run this by the flight attendants or pilot first) and propose to her at 35,000 feet.  You can start your proposal out by briefly talking about how the two of you met and how now you cannot see your life without her in it.
  • Planning on purchasing her favorite puppy or kitten?  Tie the ring around the pet’s neck with a red ribbon.  You can also do this idea with a stuffed animal.
  • Slip the ring on her finger while she is sleeping.  Wake her with a small breakfast, such as strawberries, coffee etc.  At first she will find it a romantic gesture until she notices the ring on her finger!
  • Propose to her at work.  Of course you must get her boss in on this ahead of time.  Bring a dozen roses, or two dozen roses in a vase to her work.  Have someone deliver them to her desk with a note attached explaining 1 rose for each of the reasons why you love her.  Have her boss call her into his/her office where you will be on one bended knee asking her to marry you.
